Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at CV Library. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise line management on quality-related matters and assist with the implementation of new or existing legislation, rules, and company standards.
  • Manage Special Quality Plan processes and projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Undertake regular prevention and improvement inspections, maintaining accurate records of findings.
  • Support a monthly Compliance Communication Strategy for all sites and levels of staff, including written information, tool box talks, and management briefs.
  • Plan and perform ISO audits to plan, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead external BSI and customer audits, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Monitor and report non-conformances, including internal and external rejects.
  • Manage and maintain customer compliance platforms, such as Risqs, uvdb, and Ecovadis.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving all current quality accreditations (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015) and support the attainment of new accreditations (ISO 45001:2018).
  • Monitor employee off-site compliance accreditations, such as CSCS and Grid.
  • Support or lead internal compliance training, including Quality Awareness, tool box talks, and other relevant topics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in ISO 9001 and 14001 auditing.
  • IEMA or equivalent environmental management certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal, written, and PC communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality role in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Significant knowledge of and interest in ISO 9001:2015 and 14001 processes.
  • Internal auditing, compliance, and maintenance of relevant standards, risk assessment experience, and an understanding of quality-related legislation.
