About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and flexible individuals to support the UK's supply chain from discharge to distribution, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stevedore / Quayside duties
  • Plant driving, including Forklift Trucks, Payloaders, Shovels, Tugs and Mobile harbour cranes
  • Weighbridge or Gatehouse
  • Stock counts
  • Industrial cleaning
  • Traffic Marshall and Vehicle banksman
Requirements
  • Health and Safety conscious at all times
  • Team player committed to ensuring the completion of works in a safe and timely manner
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Comfortable working outside in all weathers
Desirable Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid or expired Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • HGV licence
  • Valid or expired Payloader / Shovel Licence
  • Experience in similar roles, such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge
  • Previous experience working with commodities such as Steel, 1t Bags or Timber
  • Experience operating a radio
