Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Reed. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the purchasing activities of our organisation, ensuring that all procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Responsibilities
---------------

* Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies to meet business objectives.
* Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
* Determine quantity and timing of deliveries to meet business needs.

Requirements
------------

* Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement.
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market.
* Talent in negotiations and networking to build strong relationships with suppliers.
* Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software to streamline procurement processes.
* Experience in collecting and analysing data to inform procurement decisions.
