About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our Capital Procurement Team and non-Clinical Sourcing Team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a customer-centric service to drive the sourcing of value for money products and services to support the delivery of high-quality clinical care to our patients.

Main Duties
  • Work within the Capital and Equipping Procurement Team to source capital construction projects and equipping contracts with a spend of circa £30m a year.
  • Source and manage contracts for Informatics and Corporate Services Category, from sourcing through to contract management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address procurement needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve value for money and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.

Person Specification
  • Fully conversant with Public Sector Procurement Rules.
  • Experience of buying capital or Informatics category.
  • Evidence of working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project Management Experience/Working to deadlines.
