Job Description

Dabster is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in HVDC control systems and software development to lead our team in designing and developing event and rate driven application software for control and protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of software applications for HVDC control systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote Agile software development practices.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality software solutions that meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in HVDC control systems and software development.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or power systems and power electronics subjects.
  • Proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
  • Strong understanding of functional characteristics of power systems and interactions between AC and HVDC systems.
  • Knowledge of PSCAD and competent using MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
