We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join our team at Dabster.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design and development of event and rate driven application software for control and protection systems.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of functional characteristics of power systems and interactions between AC and HVDC systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote Agile Software development practices and ensure seamless integration with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or power systems and power electronics subjects, or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
  • Proficiency in PSCAD and MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Software development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
