The Pediatric Epilepsy Care Nurse is crucial in providing specialized nursing services, assisting patients and their families in managing their condition effectively while reducing the need for hospital admissions. In your role as a Band 6 Pediatric Epilepsy Care Nurse, you will:
- Lead and enhance nurse-led services for the pediatric epilepsy demographic
- Manage a diverse caseload of patients

- Oversee assessments of care needs
- Provide expert advice and training to staff and families
- Engage in research initiatives within the specialty

Qualifications and Certifications

Essential requirements include:
- Registration as a nurse
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
- Post-registration qualification in Epilepsy management
