We are seeking a proficient Senior Automotive Technician with a solid technical background in a franchised dealership environment.
This well-known premium brand dealership in Crawley is thriving, and they are eager to welcome you as part of their future. You will collaborate with an experienced service leader and benefit from manufacturer training, a positive work atmosphere, and ample opportunities to stay productive.
As a qualified Senior Automotive Technician, you will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose system faults, rectify issues (including component replacements), and restore vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
Our client encourages applications from experienced technicians within a franchised dealership, ideally with VAG Group experience.
They are also open to considering experienced Diagnostic Technicians.
A Full UK driving license and personal tools are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your technical expertise to perform repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, encompassing both minor and major mechanical work.
- Conduct significant electrical and engine repair tasks.
- Engage with customers to discuss vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Perform road tests on customer vehicles post-repair.
- Employ advanced diagnostic equipment to identify faults pertinent to the franchise brand.
- Complete Vehicle Health Checks (VHC) ensuring video completion meets targets and exceeds all VHC KPIs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Technical proficiency to confidently and safely conduct repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles.
- Demonstrated capability and confidence in utilizing systems and equipment within the workshop.
- Experience in a franchised dealership adhering to the highest quality standards.
- Proven track record of meeting productivity targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve optimal customer outcomes.
- Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Ability to mentor and coach apprentices while supporting less experienced team members.
- Possession of a full and valid driving license.
