Purchase Ledger Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client, an established manufacturing business based in Newry. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing a professional and efficient service to the finance function.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile supplier accounts to statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare payment runs and allocate payments, maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve queries and ensure seamless communication
  • Assist with month-end duties, including bank reconciliations
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger
  • Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable ERP systems (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
