Role: Graduate Stress Engineer - Design

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Derby (Onsite)

As a Graduate Stress Engineer, you will be working in a client-facing environment in the manufacturing and business aviation domain. You will design and analyse aero-engine components according to customer standards and processes. You will go through an initial training about design and standards along with guidance and support available throughout the design life cycle.

  • Work in a team environment on design and documentation.
  • Prepare documents for design reviews.
  • Work on design and documentation of aero-engine components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyse aero-engine components using 3D modelling and analysis software such as NX, Catia V5, Hypermesh, ANSYS, Nastran/Patran.
  • Understand basic mechanical engineering principles.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for design reviews.
