Rheumatology Consultant

We are seeking two forward-thinking Consultant Rheumatologists to join our dynamic team in the department of Rheumatology at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
As a key member of our team, you will work alongside experienced Consultants, Specialist Registrars, and nurse specialists to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities- Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and patients
- Contribute to the development of our services and improve patient outcomes
- Participate in teaching and training of postgraduate clinical staff
- Initiate, progress, and complete audits to improve patient care
- Work effectively under pressure and cope with competing demands
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and experience:
- Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
- Experience in diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disease
- Teaching qualification or higher qualification in medical education
- Previous experience of working in the NHS or experience of NHS working practices and systems
