About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retoucher to join our Studio & Production Services department at Joules HQ. As a Retoucher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, visually stunning product and brand imagery for our e-commerce and campaign channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality assets for all Joules channels, ensuring consistency and adherence to our brand style and guidelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to produce perfect product and brand images in both studio and location settings.
  • Retouch a variety of product types, including still life, mannequin, flat lays, and on-model images, to a strict daily post-production target.
  • Complete bespoke and complex post-production amendments to images.
  • Create and apply Photoshop actions and scripts as part of our workflow.
  • Collaborate with the coordination team to ensure all product issues are flagged and retouched before distribution.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with post-production guidelines and approved ways of working.
  • Follow studio and production processes to ensure seamless post-production.
  • Utilize and update sample and asset management documents to track assets through production.
  • Produce perfect product and brand images captured in both studio and location settings.
  • Complete quality assurance requests as advised by the senior retoucher or production manager.
  • Complete color correction to images, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various creative projects.
  • Maintain the digital asset library and integrity of folder structures.
  • Check that all files adhere to asset naming conventions.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and freelance contributors when required.
  • Support the senior retoucher with team administration tasks and coordination or workload when required and during periods of annual leave.
