We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Robotics Support Engineer to join our team at Labman Automation Ltd. in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our bespoke laboratory automation systems.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering, with experience in electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and automation. You will be comfortable working with a variety of scientific equipment and will have excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

As a Laboratory Robotics Support Engineer, you will be part of a small team based in our Liverpool office, with regular visits to our headquarters in North Yorkshire and opportunities to travel within the UK and internationally. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

We offer a competitive salary, 33 days annual holiday (rising to 38 over 5 years), and enhanced maternity pay. You will also have access to professional development opportunities, including CPD support and annual subscription to relevant bodies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and planned improvements

  • Logging and documenting all support work according to internal guidelines
  • Identifying upgrades and improvements of customer systems
  • Collaborating professionally with customers to build on Labman's reputation
