Peripatetic Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Peripatetic Nurse Manager to join our team, covering 14 care homes in London, Kent, and the South West. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supporting two divisions and maintaining regional contact with each care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine visits to care homes, as directed by Divisional Directors, to ensure the effective delivery of medicine administration processes.
  • Oversee and ensure the implementation of the company's care management of medicines policy.
  • Support the Home Manager in planning and facilitating regular staff meetings, ensuring effective communication and up-to-date information.
  • Provide support and assistance to staff members, delegating duties as appropriate, and ensuring areas of responsibility are maintained.
  • Ensure staff members attend mandatory and required training courses, maintaining skills, knowledge, and competency levels.
  • Work closely with the CQC to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of legislation and regulatory frameworks underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people.
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin and NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Flexible and willing to travel and work a variety of shifts, including occasional weekend shifts.
