About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at BJSS. As a DataOps advocate, you'll work with our clients to design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable data solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and processes in a production-safe manner using the latest technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver modern data platforms into large organizations
  • Develop and maintain data applications, systems, and services using software engineering best practices
  • Work with a wide range of tools and technologies, including cloud data services such as Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Kafka, Redshift, Glue, Athena, BigQuery, S3, and Cloud Data Fusion
  • Write well-tested object-oriented Python code and have a good understanding of design choices for data storage and data processing
  • Experience in programmatically deploying, scheduling, and monitoring components in a workflow
  • Write complex queries against relational and non-relational data stores
