About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Blair House Care Home, part of the Healthcare Ireland Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their wellbeing and comfort.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks, and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
  • Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved.
  • Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing, and going to the toilet.
  • Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognizing changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
