About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at My Care My Home. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prompting and supporting with personal care and dressing, including assistance with intimate personal care.
  • Supporting with light household duties, including laundry, shopping, and cleaning, meal preparation.
  • Assisting with medication, including collecting prescriptions, prompting, or administering medication.
  • Accompanying service users to medical appointments as needed.
  • Providing general companionship and social support.

  • A competitive rate of pay: £12.00 per hour.
  • Mileage allowance: 20p per mile.
  • Travel time pay: £11.44 per hour.

Requirements

We do not require any formal qualifications or previous experience in the care sector. Full training and support will be provided. As part of the pre-employment process, an enhanced DBS check will be actioned. We do not provide overseas sponsorship, and you will need the right to work in the UK.
