About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading food manufacturer in the UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including fault finding and repair.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of contractors and external maintenance providers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and records through online databases.
Requirements
  • Experience in a food or FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of automated machinery and processes.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices, including 17th and 18th Edition electrical standards.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
