Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandising Coordinator - Space Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing retail spaces to maximize sales and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Space Planning: Plan and organize retail spaces to maximize sales each season, aligning with store segmentations.
- Visual Merchandising: Work closely with merchandising and store teams to create effective store layouts based on seasonal visual merchandising (VM) guidance.
- Store Space Management: Maintain and update store space counts to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Market Analysis: Analyze sales data and monitor market trends to inform store layout decisions.
- Guidance Distribution: Compile and distribute seasonal VM guidance to stores.
- Store Visits: Conduct regular store visits to ensure that layouts are effective and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Brand Collaboration: Collaborate with brands to ensure new fixtures and fittings are correctly integrated into store spaces.
- Industry Events: Attend key events such as conferences, roadshows, and seasonal briefs across the country.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in visual merchandising and space planning.
- Skills: Strong project management, influencing, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in Adobe, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong time management, organizational skills, and multi-tasking ability. A meticulous attention to detail and a self-starting attitude.
