Job Title: Baseline Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Baseline Coordinator to join our team at Curtiss-Wright's Defense Solution division. As a Baseline Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Business Unit with all cost and pricing aspects of program opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture engineering Basis of Estimates (BOE)
  • Product cost capture from actuals and/or Product Manager inputs
  • Working with procurement and supply chain as needed to gather and verify material cost basis
  • Manage and capture costing for any 3rd party items that may be required
  • Coordinate with customer facing team to define needs and validation of material costing, including the creation and presentation of relevant documentation for reviews
  • Develop strategies and implement solutions for most efficient costing/pricing models with an eye to repeatability, considering market factors and eventual risk & reward of offered pricing/terms
  • Support/Lead targeted costing and pricing models/analysis/closed loop analysis (post award actuals compared to bid values) and provide lessons learned and recommendations to the applicable business units
  • Support the development of process and procedure improvement, taking the lead when needed
  • Ongoing/timely support to various stakeholders (BU Directors and Managers) as required
Requirements:
  • Superior Excel/Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Commercially aware with significant customer facing experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as part of a team, ability to work with cross-functional teams, to follow procedures and use system tools
  • A self-starter, able to work independently and manage concurrent multiple tasks with dynamic priorities
  • Demonstrated ability and resourcefulness in solving often ambiguous problems with little supervision
  • Experience with cost/revenue analysis and audits is considered an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills to collect data, understand significance and explain issues; able to take initiatives and recommend solutions / process improvements
  • Good ability to work with integrated ERP systems, preferably SyteLine and / or SAP
  • Ability to present and defend costing / pricing recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm for continuous improvement
  • A post-secondary diploma/degree from a college or university in Accounting, Finance and/or Business
  • Experience in product cost development and cost analysis
  • Familiarity with Military and Aerospace market and customer base is desired, but not mandatory
  • 5-7 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing or high technology environment; or a combination
