Position: International Nurse Coordinator

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with weekends on a rotational basis.

The International Nurse Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting travelers facing unforeseen medical challenges. Given the nature of emergencies, you will engage in high levels of verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues daily.

To excel in this position, you must demonstrate resilience, perseverance, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Our collaborative environment prioritizes learning and development, making it essential for you to thrive in a team-oriented setting.

As part of Charles Taylor Assistance, a prominent professional services firm with a rich history in the global insurance market, you will contribute to one of the leading providers of medical and security assistance, travel risk management, and claims solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and consult with clients and colleagues, adhering to triage priorities.
  • Coordinate with patients, healthcare facilities, and medical professionals worldwide to ensure appropriate treatment.
  • Prepare accurate and focused assessments and reports.
  • Keep Case Managers informed about coverage decisions and necessary documentation.
  • Evaluate patients' readiness for discharge and return home.
  • Handle all communications confidentially and empathetically.
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-registration nursing experience.
  • NMC registration is required.
  • Recent experience in emergency, intensive care, or acute medical settings.
  • Demonstrated tenacity, enthusiasm, and motivation.
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions as cases evolve.
  • Completion of a 3-month office-based training period.
  • Potential for a hybrid work arrangement.
