Oscar Technology is seeking a highly skilled Database Support Engineer to join our team on a one-year contract basis. As a key member of our IT consultancy, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and providing technical support services to our international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake database management for company systems, including backup procedures.
  • Develop and generate SQL database queries, scripts, functions, and stored procedures.
  • Support the administration of HRDS applications.
  • Develop and administer SQL Reporting Services reports and Power BI report server.
  • Assist with the validation and verification testing requirements for HRDS applications.
  • Assist the data protection team by undertaking analysis on application datasets and transactional logs, and generate appropriate reports in relation to workflows and database operations.
  • Support the collection of user requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality and usage.
Requirements
  • Fluent English - written and oral.
  • A Master's / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Valid passport to facilitate international travel to northern Europe.
  • Security Clearance at military level - applications without this will not be considered.
  • Skillset: SQL, Power BI, PowerShell, SSRS, SharePoint.
