About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing exceptional care and support to young people in our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure high-quality care and support is provided at all times.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of young people.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard, meeting all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve any complaints or concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of the home's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
