About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the psychological care of children and young people accessing our Chronic Pain and Rheumatology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement psychological care plans for patients with complex health conditions
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Supervise and line manage junior clinical psychologists and trainees
  • Contribute to the development of clinical governance and risk management strategies
  • Participate in audit and research activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience in highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment
  • Experience in the psychological management of acute and chronic pain and other physical problems
  • Advanced practitioner skills in at least one model of psychological therapy
