Investigation Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigation Officer to join our team at the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust. As an Investigation Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting investigations and employee relations cases, adopting a compassionate practice ethos and adhering to the All Wales Disciplinary and Respect and Resolution Policies.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations, writing reports, and presenting at hearings and employment tribunals. You will also be required to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and trade union partners, fostering a culture of positive employee relations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's level of knowledge and demonstrable experience in a highly specialist relevant subject, such as HR, Employee Relations, Employment Law, or Investigation-related work. You will also have experience of working at a senior level within a managerial/human resources environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of employment law and employee relations policies.
Main Duties- Conduct thorough investigations into employee conduct and performance issues
- Write comprehensive reports and present findings at hearings and employment tribunals
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and trade union partners
- Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues to build resilience and capacity across the organization

- Masters level of knowledge and demonstrable experience in a highly specialist relevant subject
- Experience of working at a senior level within a managerial/human resources environment
