Job Title: Educator - Long Day Care

Centacare Brisbane is seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team at St Augustine's Long Day Care. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Create daily and weekly activity plans that cater to the developmental needs and interests of the children.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Provide close supervision during activities, meals, and rest times.
  • Attend to the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
