About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our infrastructure projects team, you will be responsible for managing projects and work packages, ensuring that costs are captured, analyzed, and controlled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage projects and work packages, ensuring that costs are captured, analyzed, and controlled.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Contract Management: Manage the main contract, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary.
  • Subcontract Management: Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors.
  • Financial Management: Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment, and prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Essential experience on infrastructure projects, working towards or having chartered membership of a recognized institution, degree or equivalent, and NEC3 or IChemE contract experience.
  • Desirable: Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team.
