Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team at Maple Lodge, with hybrid working available.

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and be responsible for the Commercial Management of Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects and work packages, ensuring accurate cost control and analysis.
  • Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture and control costs.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Manage main contracts, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
  • Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors.
  • Manage payment applications and prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist in the management and development of commercial staff.
  • Ensure continuous professional development through external networking, conferences, and associations.
  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  • Undertake additional duties, training, and hours of work as required.
  • Promote a professional image of the department and MWH Treatment, maintaining mutually constructive relationships.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection.
