About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Sonographer to join our highly reputable private hospital based in Nottingham. The hospital is the largest modern private healthcare provider in the north, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Sonographer to join our experienced and friendly imaging team.

The team are passionate about person-centred care and we put the patients at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a like-minded Cardiac Sonographer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cardiac sonography for adults and adolescents following BSE guidelines.
  • Evaluate patient health and well-being in diverse and evolving cases.
  • Assist in launching new cardiac services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize technology for measuring, monitoring, and treating patients.
  • Recognize and manage the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI).
Requirements
  • BSC in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of BSE certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a registered echocardiographer in the UK.
  • Proficient in scanning adults, with a preference for experience with adolescent patients.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work confidently within a team.
