Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at a private hospital in Nottingham. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for conducting cardiac sonography for adults and adolescents, evaluating patient health and well-being, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Conduct cardiac sonography for adults and adolescents following BSE guidelines.
• Evaluate patient health and well-being in diverse and evolving cases.
• Assist in launching new cardiac services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize technology for measuring, monitoring, and treating patients.
• Recognize and manage the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI).

• BSC in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of BSE certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a registered echocardiographer in the UK.
• Proficient in scanning adults, with a preference for experience with adolescent patients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently within a team.
