Financial Controller

A key Financial Controller position has become available at a leading technology business in Manchester. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will play a vital role in implementing controls to minimize risk on the balance sheet and highlighting opportunities for improvements.
You will present analysis and commentary on the consolidated Group Balance Sheet to senior stakeholders on a monthly basis. Additionally, you will coordinate the year-end audit process, liaising with cross-functional teams, and serve as the key point of contact for the group's auditors.
As a Financial Controller, you will also contribute to projects such as the implementation of a new ERP system and wider transformation initiatives across finance. To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant with strong financial control experience in large and complex businesses.
You will have extensive experience of balance sheet control and risk management, as well as extensive exposure to audit processes and liaison with external auditors. If you are available to start quickly and are willing to commit to a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
