Academic Program Manager

Hult International Business School is seeking a highly motivated and organized Academic Program Manager to join our team. As an integral part of the postgraduate academic team, you will be responsible for managing the student journey for a specific program, working closely with the Campus Dean and all members of the Academic team to deliver the highest quality academic experience to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned academic program(s), working closely with the Deanery and Academic Team.
  • Monitor student progress and attendance, collaborating with Registry and Assistant/Associate Dean on student success metrics.
  • Assist with handling academic disciplinary issues and advise students on academic questions or issues.
  • Work with Deanery, Registry, and other Program Managers to support students on academic probation, going/returning from leave of absence, and any student requesting help with a transition to or from the school.
  • Manage student and team concerns, conflicts, issues, and mitigating circumstances in consultation with the Assistant or Associate Dean.
  • Assist assigned program faculty with administrative course support, preparation, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop academic projects or student study/skill workshops.
  • Address student or faculty questions in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Organize and coordinate academic-related student extracurricular projects and networking/social events.
  • Support academic initiatives and projects, such as organizing tutoring sessions, facilitating Course Assistant assignments and logistics, and coordinating guest speakers or industry events.
  • Manage academic communications to students through systems, email newsletters, and other media.
  • Serve as the bridge between academics, student services, and careers for organizing and managing the student experience in collaboration with the Assistant or Associate Dean.
  • Assist Deanery, Student Services, and Campus Operations with orientation, graduation, leadership trainings, and other larger student/campus events.
  • Execute on established tools and metrics for program evaluation and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a student-facing role, experience in administrative or academic support strongly preferred.
  • Believe in a global education and embrace cultural diversity in your school.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with faculty, staff, and students of different cultures.
  • Native English speaker or similar level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven track record and commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Skilled with database management (familiarity with Salesforce and Canvas preferred) and strong comprehension of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
  • Highly analytical with excellent project management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and exceptionally well organized.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills with a 'nothing is impossible' attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to balance long-term planning with short-term objectives.
  • Collegial attitude and able to work collaboratively across teams and campuses.
