Job Title - Residential Children's Worker

Location - Stoke

Pay - £12.55-£13.55 per hour, £60 per sleep in

Hours - Full time, part time and weekend only

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Lavoro Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people in our residential setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and promote independence and wellbeing for the children and young people in the home
  • Deal with challenging behaviors when needed
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
  • Maintain a safe environment for young people
  • Engage, communicate, and listen to the children and their needs
  • Work pro-actively to provide essential care and nurturing to the children
  • Maintain professional boundaries and remain person-centered at all times

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience working with children and young people
  • Full driving license with access to your own vehicle
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Full employment history with any gaps explained
