Marshall Harmony is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our machine build project-based environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of parts into the assembly halls and coordinating the effort of the build team to assemble, commission, and test machines while ensuring on-cost and on-time performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects that flow regularly through the doors, with some lasting around 12 weeks and others spanning a full year.
  • Ensure the testing process is thorough and rigorous, with a focus on extreme conditions.
  • Guide the build team, taking a strategic, bird's-eye view of the entire production process.
  • Set up the ERP system to ensure effective communication across the business.
  • Forecast labour costs and drive continuous improvement through methods like 5S.
  • Coordinate assembly and ensure machines are built on time and to budget.
  • Direct a new apprenticeship programme and empower the team to tell you what's needed to keep things running smoothly.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £60k–£70k.
  • Fridays finishing at 12 PM.
  • 33 days of holiday, including bank holidays.
