Senior Agile Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support to team members, encouraging the adoption of new technologies, and maintaining software version standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technology best practices, and implement new technologies in accordance with the technical direction communicated by the Head of Development.
- Maintain software version standards, ensuring that all software meets the required quality and functionality standards.
- Develop software to the definition of done, and ensure that all software is thoroughly tested and documented.
- Collaborate with the QA team and IT to implement patch fixes and deploy software to QA and production environments.
- Maintain existing systems, fix software quality issues, and create test harnesses and scripts as required.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years of web development experience using C# and ASP.Net MVC, and 2+ years of SQL experience.
- Elite-level software development skills, with a passion for new technology and the ability to identify emerging trends.
- Ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly and deeply, and to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Full stack knowledge, including web browser, firewalls, databases, and storage.
- Production of quality code, first time, with a keen passion for writing and maintaining well-tested, high-performance, readable code.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to the wider development team.
- Experience with Agile project management, ideally Scrum.
Ideally, a computer science education, with experience in software development as listed within the specification.
Industry and Job LocationIT Services, with the job located at Tower Works, 2 Globe Road, Leeds.
Qualifications and Work HoursAgile and MS development certifications are desirable, but not essential. The job requires 37.5 hours of work per week.
