Job Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and ambitious Loading Bay Assistant to join our team. As a Loading Bay Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personal and exceptional service to our guests. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, observing for signs of crime or disorder, and taking accurate notes of unusual occurrences.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the Montcalm Collection's next chapter and showcase your skills. As a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels, you'll have the chance to move between properties and achieve the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protecting company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating disturbances
  • Acting lawfully in direct defence of life or property
  • Apprehending criminals and evicting violators
  • Taking accurate notes of unusual occurrences
  • Reporting in detail any suspicious incidents
  • Patrolling randomly or regularly building and perimeter
  • Monitoring and controlling access at building entrances and gates
  • Watching video cameras and operating detecting/emergency equipment
  • Performing first aid or CPR if trained to do so
Key Requirements and Essential Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
  • Trained security officer with diploma (preferable)
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment (preferable)
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • High school degree
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)
Eligibility

Candidates must be authorised to live and work in the UK. Currently, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
