Building Surveying Graduate - Manchester

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in building surveying? We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveying Graduate to join our team in Manchester.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our graduate program. As a Building Surveying Graduate, you will work towards completing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess the condition of properties
  • Prepare reports outlining the findings and recommendations
  • Act as a Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on fit-out and refurbishment contracts
  • Assist with planning preventative maintenance plans
  • Stay up-to-date with building and sustainability standards, legal knowledge, and building pathology

Requirements:

  • GCSEs – C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Degree – Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Surveying accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • Confident communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to travel

Estimated Compensation: £28,000
