We are seeking a highly experienced social worker to join our fostering team at Charles Babbage House in Enfield. As a supervising social worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster carers and ensuring the well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise foster carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Work closely with the fostering team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct regular visits to foster homes to monitor the welfare of children and provide guidance to carers.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to child care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualifying experience as a social worker.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in supporting foster carers and working with children in care.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations.
  • IT compliance and ability to work within the Liquid Logic recording system.
  • BPSS clearance.
