We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at HK Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in managing and assisting with all financial company needs.

This is a full-time, office-based role that requires strong relationships with colleagues and external providers. You will work closely with our Finance Director and Accounting & Reporting Supervisor to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external providers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and coding of invoices using Sage 200 to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and implement financial policies to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Maintain the expense side of the cash book on the accounting system and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with employee queries and expenses to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage petty cash and corporate credit cards to ensure secure and efficient use.
  • Maintain compliant policies and procedures with regards to income to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly annual income reports to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Reconcile bank and online donations to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process gift aid claims to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budget preparation to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.

Requirements:

  • Part ACCA or ACCA qualified preferred.
  • Knowledge of UK Accounts and experience in a similar Accounts assistant role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and external providers.
  • Knowledge of Sage and IT literacy to ensure efficient use of financial systems.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • Pension scheme and other benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
