Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance and Thematic Reviews: Conduct thorough quality assurance and thematic reviews to identify risks and areas for improvement.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support the monitoring of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Continuously assess and identify risks to the bank and customers, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency.
- Internal Audit and Compliance: Support internal audit and compliance activities, including scheduled reviews and follow-up actions.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives, as required, to support the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly quality assurance reports for submission to the Operations Risk & Assurance Forum.
- Risk Event Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of risk events, including root cause analysis and adequacy of actions to address weaknesses.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of Risk Management: Have a good understanding of risk management principles and practices, including the three lines of defence model.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and conduct rules, including CONC, COBS, BCOBS, MCOB, SYSC, and DISP.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.
- Team Player: Be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
