About the Role
We're Pets at Home - a leading pet care business with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Shop Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving sales and performance across our Pet Care Centres. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals, ensuring seamless store operations, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and performance targets.
- Develop and implement effective store operations, including stock control, recruitment, and training.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to drive business growth and improve store performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high store standards, including visual merchandising and store cleanliness.

Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a retail management role.
- Proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
