Role Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Practice Facilitator, you will engage directly with learners to mentor, develop competency-based programs, and facilitate workshops, simulation training, and educational events. This role is integral to the Education Team and will focus on clinical aspects, aiming to support our teams in providing exceptional, patient-centered care and achieving excellent outcomes in a supportive learning environment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Implementing Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to enhance and oversee the clinical competency program, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
  • Leading the Clinical Practice Development Committee, promoting improvements and integrating best practices into our clinical services.
  • Collaborating with Clinical Managers to design and assess orientation programs for clinical teams, facilitating their effective integration into our institution.
  • Promoting lifelong learning and professional development through workshops, simulation training, and coaching, supporting the continuous advancement of healthcare professionals.
  • Providing Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) training to ensure staff are equipped with essential life-saving skills.

Qualifications:

  • NMC or HCPC registration with a valid license to practice and relevant educational credentials.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar capacity with a robust clinical background, showcasing experience in clinical practice, education, and competency management within a healthcare environment.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
  • A strong commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and alignment with the values of our institution.
