As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for supervising our members in the pool, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the Operations team in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our clubs.

The Role:

  • Incorporate a friendly, calm, and approachable nature with the ability to act quickly and effectively at all times.
  • Ensure the utmost safety of our members in the pool and spa areas, taking responsibility for your own personal safety and that of others.
  • Consistently act in a safe manner, knowing the importance of completing safety checks and recording them accurately.
  • Monitor water chemical levels and clean the water when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all areas and adhere to the high standards of Virgin Active.
  • Be responsible for compliance with all mandatory training and health and safety.
  • Fulfill Duty Shifts when required, taking responsibility and accountability during the shift, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.

Qualifications:

  • You do not currently hold a lifeguard qualification? No problem – we'll provide you with training and you'll receive a Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding over the course of 5 days.
