Join Ipsos, a world-leading research company, as we seek a highly skilled Head of Behavioural Science to lead our Behavioural Science team in Public Affairs. About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in behavioural science, economics, or a related field. As a Head of Behavioural Science, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing behaviour change programmes across various policy areas, including energy, environment, transport, health, and online behaviours.
  • Leading research projects, from design to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly outcomes.
  • Providing thought leadership and profile-raising opportunities to grow our market presence and demonstrate the value of behavioural science.
  • Consulting on the application of behavioural science, including evidence reviews, framework development, and intervention design.
  • Harnessing innovation and mixed methods to inform intervention mapping, design, testing, and evaluation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A first degree in psychology, economics, or a related field, with a Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Proven experience in delivering behavioural insight and developing interventions in a UK Government behavioural insights function, agency, or consulting environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong internal networks and foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and creative thinking, with entrepreneurial initiative and commercial acumen to drive business growth.
