Postdoctoral Research Assistant in AI for Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team at the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, data cleaning and analysis, and developing novel AI models to provide intelligent decision support for predicting patients at risk of developing multiple co-existing diseases, including cancer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting literature reviews and data analysis to inform AI model development
- Developing and implementing AI models to predict patient risk
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams to advance AI for healthcare
- Contributing to the development of research papers and presentations
Requirements:
- PhD (or near completion) in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong record of publication in relevant literature
- Good knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
- Proven competence in programming methods
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary research team
