Job Title: Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Olive Recruit. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing our client's young people's service, providing care for individuals aged 8-18 with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead a team, motivating staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure effective use of home resources.
  • Liaise with external agencies to safeguard young people while maintaining professional relationships.
  • Implement quality assurance practices to continuously improve service standards.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or a relevant equivalent qualification (Level 5 Diploma preferred).
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a residential home environment, with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A child-centered approach, committed to providing high-quality care and promoting the well-being and development of young people.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements within a residential childcare setting.
  • A track record of working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve shared goals.
