Reed Accountancy is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to oversee the credit control function for a Basingstoke client. The ideal candidate will have a solid construction industry background and be instrumental in the prompt collection of outstanding debts. The role involves contacting customers regarding overdue payments, preparing and processing payment applications, and maintaining spreadsheets to track all applications issued and outstanding payment certificates/payments. The successful candidate will also assist the finance director with general finance-related duties and prepare and monitor a debtor's report with detailed status of all items owed. Required skills and qualifications include proven experience in credit control within the construction industry, excellent communication skills, proficiency in using Sage and Construct software, and essential knowledge of Excel.
