Family Court Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Work to First Hearing Team as a Family Court Adviser. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Cafcass only intervenes in the lives of children who need our service.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct effective telephone interviews with applicants and respondents to gather information and assess risks.
- Collate and analyze information from various sources to provide expert advice to the court.
- Communicate advice clearly and concisely through written reports and representations.
- Attend initial court hearings to ensure that children remain central to all decision-making.
- Be a Social Work England registered social worker with a proven track record of working with children and families.
- Be organized, resilient, and able to work independently.
- Have demonstrable experience of working with children and families over a sustained period.
