Main Responsibilities of the Role

  • Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications.
  • Prepare cases, attend clients, and take instructions.
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures.
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors and ensure compliance with file management.

Key Skills Required

  • Passion and experience in publically funded Court of Protection cases.
  • Strong academic background with a Law degree.
  • Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor.
  • Clear understanding and application of Court of Protection law.
  • Business acumen and ability to market the company.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and document management.
