Contract: Permanent – Full time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Construction team to implement a variety of civil engineering projects for local authorities. Your role will encompass maintenance, enhancements, and significant project undertakings, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget. Typical projects will involve:

  • Footpath reconstruction
  • Carriageway resurfacing
  • Surface treatments
  • Drainage improvements
  • Traffic signal installations
  • Structural repairs

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Upholding health and safety standards for yourself, the workforce, and the public, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Overseeing construction sites to meet program and budgetary requirements, while inspecting work quality in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including local councils and the public, to facilitate effective communication
  • Interpreting project documents, design drawings, and bills of quantities in alignment with contract specifications

Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • An HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or relevant practical experience
  • Experience in managing both direct employees and civil engineering contractors
  • SMSTS / NRSWA Supervisor certification / NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate / 12D Traffic Management qualification
  • A valid driving license for site visits
